Friday Dec. 3 Mountain Heritage hosted the 4a AC Reynolds Rockets.
Heritage took control early and the game was never in doubt as they cruised to their 1st win of the season.
For the 2nd consecutive game MH scorched the nets shooting 56%.
The one two punch of Alex Biggerstaff and John Cannon was enough to knock the visitors out. Cannon finished with a triple double scoring 24 rebounding 10 and blocking 11. Biggerstaff scored 21.
Eli Buckner contributed 8 points and 4 rebounds. Zander Silvers had a great defensive game and 3 assists and 5 points. Spencer Bishop knocked down 2 threes and finished with 7 points. Tyson Tomberlin and Dillion Vess pulled down 5 rebounds each.
Hertiage took care of the ball as they only had 10 turnovers. The defense also had a good effort holding the Rockets to 37% shooting.
Other notes: Point guard Drew Letterman was on the court not 100% yet but good to see him back. John Cannon is on the verge of breaking the career blocked shot record as he currently is only 4 away. Trenton Burleson will see his first action this up coming week.
