Mountain heritage boys won a low scoring ball game vs Avery county Wednesday night. Cougars never trailed but never took control either. Lowest scoring game all year Cougars led 20-14 at the half. Cougars slow pace only had 13 turnovers. Cougars only had 2 3's on the night one from Tim Hensley one from Kaleb Mccurry. Kaleb came off the bench and generated the spark going a perfect 2-2 from the field. Grant Buckner had 10pt's 2 assists .
He saved his best assist at the end of the game when he ran the floor gathering the Viking defense bounce passing the ball on the floor to Austin Taylor who broke the rim down for an uncontested dunk.
To break Avery's will. Taylor had 15pts 13rebounds 2 steals 3 blocks 1 assist in having an complete game. Cougars where even off the glass grabbing 12 defensive rebounds and 11 offensive rebounds. Cougars win a low scoring game. 43-34
