BOYS HAVE LITTLE TROUBLE WITH STRUGGLING MITCHELL SQUAD 55-22

Mountain heritage boys in 2013 just have more talent than Mitchell this season . Mitchell returned all conference player Austin Mask for the first time this season in a limited roll .Austin Taylor welcomed back Austin Mask with a block to start the game.Then Taylor followed that up with monster dunk causing the Cougar fan section to go into a fit.

 Cougars off and running took an easy 20-6 in the first. Will Buckner led the big men with 11pts 5-7 from the field 6 rebounds . Cougars had 41 rebounds 25 defensive led by Austin Taylor who had 7 . Mitchell only scored 1 point in the 2nd period .Tim Hensley led all scorers with 13pt's as him and Lucas king both had 3 steals . Football memories remain when in the second half Jennings Greene and Jake McClellan were tangled up words and glares exchanged  Mitchell leading scorer's had six points 6pts Nate Waycaster and Sam Mckinney. Cougars shot 45% from the field 18-40 16-32 from the line 16-32 50 %. 
COUGARS WIN 55-22 

After the game MH student's returned a purple wreath that was sent to Mountain Heritage High School with a note: To New Coach Hank Newson  ,welcome to the rivalry. That did not sit well with the Mitchell faithful one Fan sending a spit bottle into the Mountain Heritage fan base. Cooler heads prevailed once the Mountain Heritage staff apologized for the situation .
