Lady cougars went to Owen tied for first in the Western Highlands Conference with Avery. Lady Cougars without starter Summer Ray who was injured vs Polk. Girls took time to adjust going up 13-11 with Kaylon Johnson hitting some big shots finishing with 7 Pt's. Maria Kardulis and Brianna woody had 8 Pt's in but the cougars trailed 23-21 at the half. Nyssa Freeman lead all lady Cougars with 11 Pt's along with Destiny Elkins 3 Pt's kept pace with the Lady warhorses by the end of the 3rd. Even though Owens Kristen Wilson lead everyone with 12 pts the 4th period was all Cougars behind Samm Chandlers 10pts lady cougars went on a 8-0 run in the last 3 Min's winning 47-38.
