Lady cougars Had they're foot on the Gas out of the gate vs the taller Warriors squad.

Cougars summer ray pushed the Cougars out to a fast 6 pt lead . Summer finished with 8 Pt's including 1 three pointer

Leading Scorer for the Cougars was Forward Brianna Woody who had 20pt's . Brianna was player of the game. Samm Chandler and Maria also had 8 Pt's.

Kaylon Johnson had a big night with 10pts

The real story for the game?

Cougars had 33 rebounds 15 steals and 16 assists

Erwin at Mountain Heritage!

Cougars opened the 2011 season against the 3a (soon to be 4a ) power Erwin. Erwin played an up tempo game hoping to wear down the Cougars.

But Senior Eli Buckner who had 19pts who lead all scorers along with Alex Biggerstaff who had 15pts with the rest of the Cougars ran with Erwin all night.

(Center) Drew "the kid" Hoilman did get in foul trouble but off the the bench came 6'6 Austin "big bob" Taylor who had 9 Pt's and key blocks down stretch gave the cougars the win and Austin player of the game award!
